Larry and Nancy Bunn met in dental school (Larry was studying to become a dentist while Nancy was pursuing a career as a dental hygienist) and have pursued their dreams together ever since. They raised five children, and now have 11 grandchildren. "We see them almost every day," Nancy says. "It's an absolute riot, and I love it."
Since 1995, Larry and Nancy have diligently worked their USANA business and have earned the title of Diamond Directors. Their dedication has certainly paid off as they take advantage of some of the best things that life has to offer. With their beautifully remodeled home in Olympia, Washington; a summer cabin on Mason Lake; and a recently purchased home in Palm Springs, California, the Bunns will have plenty of space to entertain their grandchildren. "We love to watch them enjoy the water when we take them out on the boats. We will be spending a lot of time with them this year," Larry says. "We also have a big family ski retreat planned at Whistler Resort where we will be able to focus on our family—the stuff that really matters in life."
Larry explains that their current lifestyle allows them the freedom to do "whatever the spirit moves us to do." Nancy is currently enjoying a three-month vacation in their Palm Springs home with friends and other USANA Associates. The Bunns also plan on extending their upcoming Fortune 25 trip to Switzerland for a few extra weeks. "We've talked about going to Vienna and some other places in Europe," Larry says. "We also have an investment cruise planned overseas this year."
Nancy and Larry are definitely enjoying the material benefits of their USANA business. But they know that their business also gives them rewards that money can't buy. Larry explains, "The personal development that both Nancy and I have experienced in this business is incredible. We've learned how to really listen to people, how to set goals, change our mindset, and overcome what was holding us back. Personal growth is necessary in this business. Without it, your ability to really expand in USANA is limited."
Despite their busy lifestyle, the Bunns still have enough energy left over to run two thriving businesses. In addition to their extremely successful USANA business, they continue to run a senior housing business they began in 1977. They are also working on another business venture this year involving the development of commercial office buildings in the Sacramento area.
Nancy explains that although their other business ventures have been good to them, "it still doesn't bring us the kind of satisfaction and joy that we get out of something like working with USANA. You see all the direct results of turning people's lives around. Nothing has brought us more pleasure than what we're doing right now."
