Joanne Kotjan Reaches Million-Dollar Mark with USANA
SALT LAKE CITY–April 18, 2008–Joanne Kotjan didn’t know if she would manage to keep her job as a sales and marketing vice president when her company began to downsize 10 years ago. But she recognized that if she did keep her position she faced greater responsibility, more stress and a smaller paycheck. She ultimately decided to quit.
Just as Kotjan began to look for a new job she was introduced to USANA Health Sciences. As a breast cancer survivor, Kotjan was interested in the company’s science-based health products; and, as a businesswoman, she found the idea of running her own home-based USANA business intriguing. She decided to put off her job search and give network marketing a try.
Today, Kotjan is the newest member of USANA’s Million Dollar Club, which is made up of independent USANA distributors who have earned $1 million in commissions through their USANA business.
To be officially inducted into USANA’s exclusive club, Kotjan took an unforgettable trip on April 9 to Salt Lake City. She arrived at USANA corporate headquarters in a stretch limousine, complete with a police escort and sword salute from members of the U.S. Marine Corps. She walked down a long, red carpet to the applause of hundreds of USANA employees and spent the afternoon taking a behind-the-scenes corporate tour. Kotjan also received an official Million Dollar Club blazer and lapel pin, dined at some of Salt Lake’s finest restaurants with company executives, stayed at the luxurious 5-Star Grand America Hotel and spent a relaxing day at the Grand America spa.
“It has just been a ‘wow’ day,” Kotjan said. “The most amazing thing was to see my picture on the side of the USANA building! And then to have the doors opened and to be greeted by the applause of the entire corporate staff—it was overwhelming. I am just full of gratitude and delight.”
