Fred Cooper earned bachelor's degrees in both finance and psychology from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, as well as a Ph.D. with an emphasis on materials requirement planning and forecasting from the University of Utah's David Eccles School of Business.
Fred has authored articles for professional journals and presented papers at numerous public symposia. Additionally, not only is he an active member of the American Society for Quality Control, Fred also serves as the adviser to the University of Utah's Entrepreneurial Organization.
Prior to USANA, Fred worked in corporate network operations for Human Affairs International in Salt Lake City as director of marketing. After joining USANA in 1998, he served as vice president of operations until his most recent promotion to executive vice president of operations. In this role, he plans and directs all aspects of the company's operational policies, objectives, and initiatives.
