Fred Cooper earned bachelor's degrees in both finance and psychology from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, as well as a Ph.D. with an emphasis on materials requirement planning and forecasting from the University of Utah's David Eccles School of Business. Fred has authored articles for professional journals and presented papers at numerous public symposia. Additionally, not only is he an active member of the American Society for Quality Control, Fred also serves as the adviser to the University of Utah's Entrepreneurial Organization. Prior to USANA, Fred worked in corporate network operations for Human Affairs International in Salt Lake City as director of marketing. After joining USANA in 1998, he served as vice president of information technology then executive vice president of operations until his most recent promotion to president and chief operating officer. In this role, he is responsible for the company’s day-to-day operations and collaborates with corporate management to ensure operational excellence. |
