Alan Bergstrom received bachelor's degrees in both business and engineering from Utah State University in Logan, Utah, as well as a master of business administration from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He has filled a variety of roles within several industry sectors including sales and marketing, international quality, and operations at several companies such as Hexcel Corporation, Bechtel International, and First Interstate Bank.

Currently serving as USANA's vice president of customer service, Alan is responsible for the corporate direction of the company's customer service initiatives. His specific responsibilities include call center and customer service operations in North America and the development of athlete relations and endorsements. The North American customer service operation centers include distributor services, order entry, data processing, and will call.
