| Job Description: |
The position requires installation and maintenance of Cisco switches, routers, load balancers, PIX/ASA firewalls and other miscellaneous network hardware. Infrequent travel may be required as well as on-call rotation. Candidates must have a solid understanding of TCP/IP, layer 2 and layer 3 routing, Cisco technology, network analysis and troubleshooting techniques.

| Duties/Responsibilities: |
Configure and monitor network hardware, AD, Windows servers, network administration, and application administration, etc.
Administration/Engineering role with a focus on Cisco technology.
Strong understanding of client-server software, networking components, server architectures, performance bottlenecks, network infrastructures.
Strong understanding of virtualization architectures is a plus.
Strong understanding of VPN technology as well as DNS, SMTP, FTP and WWW protocols.
Strong understanding of Data Center architecture.
Understanding of virtualization architectures is a plus.
Perform special PC/network configurations as required.
Assist IT personnel by providing LAN/WAN related technical support both locally and at remote locations.
Assist remote locations with onsite network design, implementation, and maintenance.

| Qualifications: |
A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, information systems, or related field preferred.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Must have minimum of 7 years experience as a Network Engineer or equivalent.
Cisco Call Manager experienced preferred.
CCNA qualification preferred
Working knowledge of cabling, routers, layer 2 and layer 3 switches, servers, PCs, DTCs, hubs, ATM, WAN protocols and equipment, TCP/IP, Citrix/terminal server, corporate email systems, and DNS/DHCP.
Willingness to be on call and travel.
Ability to efficiently and effectively perform all essential position duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation without posing a direct safety threat to others or self.
