Senior Video Producer
Department: Studios
Job Description: Coordinates and directs the production process and key design talent involved in producing multimedia titles for video, DVD, the web, and other media platforms.
Duties/Responsibilities: • Interfaces with clients to assess project scope and identify overall goals & messaging. • Conducts initial product development meetings, providing creative direction to identify overall goals and messages for particular multimedia titles. • Oversees development of scripts, storyboards, maps, flow charts, user interface design, and navigation schemes. • Manages the production process including graphics development, sound engineering, etc. • Creates and maintains a consistent and appropriate look for projects and collateral pieces such as packaging, marketing, and corporate identity materials. • Performs editing, videography, and/or audio/lighting duties. • Creates overall design concept for product and translates design goals and messages into a plan that integrates all aspects of the project into a comprehensive plan. • Applies knowledge of design, electronic media, and interactivity to determine appropriate technologies and platform for final product. • Develops and organizes timelines, task plans, staffing requirements, and financial and technical resources necessary for design and media production. • Provides technical and creative support at live events. • Participates in audio visual events coordination. Works as cameraman, video switcher, video engineer, or performs other event related duties. • Provides training and direction to the production staff, including interns and volunteers. • Supervises the Repairs and maintenance of studio and production equipment. • May evaluate new audio/visual equipment and direct the installation and interfacing of new equipment in production facilities. • Develops or refines the design process to reflect technical requirements of delivery platform. • Consults on and creates project budgets and assures that projects under his direction are completed within the budget scope.• Writes scripts. • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: • Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience. • 10+ years video and post production experience preferred. • 2+ years camera experience. • 5+ years event audio visual experience. • Preferred experience in Network Marketing. • Experience dealing with customers at various levels in a helpful and positive manner.
Salary Range*: Grade 15
