| Job Description: |
High proficiency in developing, creating, modifying, installing, maintaining, and testing Enterprise Java Development code and PL/SQL scripts using Oracle 10g or higher. Analyze user needs and suggest solutions. Design or modify Java code or SQL scripts with the aim of optimizing operations efficiency. Assist in installing and programming Java code and or PL/SQL solutions by gathering specifications, modifying applications, testing and installing system customizations. Maintain Best Practices in Java coding. 3+ years of direct sales compensation experience. Binary compensation, and experience with contests and promotions considered a plus. Manage data integrity and create SQL or PL/SQL scripts to manage data on a day-to-day basis or through scheduled scripts. Be on call to assist in maintaining and monitoring commission processing and other assigned tasks when necessary.Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design or modify software with the aim of optimizing operations efficiency. | Duties/Responsibilities: |
Essential Functions
Gather specifications on enhancements/modifications of business requirements.
Write code to implement enhancements/modifications or new requirements.
Monitor data interface between applications, data storage, and reporting software or external applications.
Interface with different departments and analyze business rules.
Additional Job Functions
When necessary, troubleshoot root cause of data errors.
Understand and adhere to GMP policies and procedures.
Troubles shoot App Servers and DB levels.
Perform additional tasks if time permits outside o f assigned commission projects.
Understand development workflow how it works at USANA.
Work towards improving current code by refactoring when time permit.
Having an understanding writing good test plans and having knowledge of Hudson and Sonar is a plus.

| Qualifications: |
Must possess proficient oral communication skills and excellent written documentation skills.
Need to lead discussions and diagram crucial flow of pertinent topics regarding USANAs commissions or other assigned tasks.
Must have a BS degree in Computer Science, programming or equivalent technical training and experience.
Working knowledge of Enterprise Java Development, Oracle SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
Ability to efficiently and effectively perform all essential position duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation without posing a direct safety threat to others or self.
3-10 years in direct sales corporate business and/or PL/SQL experience.
Work well with others in group projects and communicate via email to keep others updated on progress made on assigned tasks.
Need to attend meetings with co-workers and upper-management on new and on-going projects.
