Joyce Hyam’s mission has always been to be a positive influence on others. She grew up mostly in sleep away schools and her connection with friends has always been special. Because of her passion to help others, Joyce went to college to become a nurse. She graduated and began working in a large hospital in New York City .

She then felt the need to be working in a more independent environment so she began working in the field of home health care. She thrived in this area. However shortly after beginning her venture, she experienced many personal losses including the loss of  her best friend who was also a nurse.. Joyce continued working in the field.

She met her husband Harry. They have 2 children, a boy age 16 and a girl age 12. She and Harry established their own company in 1986 and it grew to be very successful. Her husband also worked more than 60 hours on the business as he oversaw all the day to day financial and computer issues. However the hours on call and the problems with having many employees and patients depend upon her began to take its toll on Joyce. She felt she was not able to spend enough time with her children so she and her husband, Harry decided to sell the business. After they sold it, Joyce began to unwind from the years of pressure. She began a search into a field where she would be able to have unlimited potential to make money and enjoy the work at the same time. She thought there should be a way to make a positive difference in people’s lives and enjoy the lifestyle she wanted for herself and her family. She had seen enough sickness and now she wanted to find a way to make money and stay home with her children. In the meantime, Harry had gone to school to become a computer network engineer. He got 4 network certifications and worked in the field for a short time. However when the computer industry had a downturn so did his job prospects. He was then wondering what to do next. After doing research on different areas they decided they wanted to have a home based business where they could still spend time with her children and be a positive influence on others. Now they can’t believe how different their lives are. They want to share the wealth with others. They have more energy than ever and have time to volunteer at their children’s schools and in the community. They love where they live and have met so many wonderful people who work as a team to make their dreams come true.

Their mission is to help others achieve what they have been able to and enjoy the experience. Everyday is a gift and they want to help others achieve their dreams also.

If you want to experience this level of happiness in your life do yourself a big favor and contact Joyce and Harry. Together we can make this dream come true.

$85,000 is the average annual income for established, full-time USANA Associates. $23,300 is the average annual income for Associates who earn as little as one commission check a month. Total includes all earnings from the compensation plan, Leadership Bonus, and contests and incentives. Calculations based on earnings between February 2008 and January 2009. Figures should not be considered as guarantees or projections of actual earnings, which result only from consistent, successful sales efforts. To be considered in a rank's earnings, Associates must have earned checks at a median rank for at least 16 weeks. According to results from an in-house survey taken between 2004 and 2006, the primary reason 17% of USANA independent business owners join the company is to improve their financial future. 21% of that group earns a check at least once a month. Of those whose primary reason is to earn enough to replace a full-time income, 41% have been Associates for at least one year and 56% are full-time Gold Directors and above. The number of Gold Directors and above who have maxed at least 1 Business Center during the year equals less than 1% of all Associates. Those earning as little as one check a month equal approximately 3% of all Associates. The average annual income for all 158,934 USANA Associates, including those who are brand new or who are not actively building a business, is $618.55, with nearly one in three earning a check. To date, USANA has more than 130 Million Dollar Club members.
